Fleet

The fleet, and the standards it runs to.

These are standards, not averages. A standard is a promise we hold at any volume. An average is just last month.

How the fleet is built

Sized to the manifest, with room above it.

Every route committed is a route fielded. That is only a standard if the fleet is deeper than the schedule — so ours always is.

Owner-operators, certified

Every representative runs their own vehicle — sedan through cargo van, matched to the route — and is vetted, insured, and certified before they carry a package.

A bench above the roster

At least four cleared, insured, app-ready representatives held off the day’s schedule at all times, activated by a single call.

A funded relief layer

Sized to 20% of daily volume and computed from volume rather than headcount, so a heavy day is absorbed by design.

Recruiting that never pauses

A standing function, so capacity is available when volume arrives instead of being recruited after it does.

Service performance

What the carrier’s customer experiences.

98.5%

Same-day completion

Delivered on the assigned day, measured against the full manifest rather than against what got loaded.

The contract standard across the industry sits at 97%; we hold a point and a half above it, and we hold it as a rolling fourteen-day figure rather than a favorable week. The margin is deliberate. A station that holds exactly at the line has no room for a hard day, and a station that holds a point and a half above it absorbs weather, volume spikes and the unexpected without the carrier ever seeing a dip.

99.97%

POD compliance

Every delivery carries the full photo set: label, GPS, and building, plus the additional frames each scenario requires — residential, apartment door, package room, scale-and-zone room, mail room with locker.

Non-compliance is graded at the network standard of under 0.04%; we commit to staying inside it, and the target every settlement period is zero non-compliant PODs, audited in real time by a dedicated quality-control function rather than reviewed at month end. Defects are caught and corrected while the representative is still on route, which is the difference between a re-shoot and a chargeback.

98.8%

Delivery success

Delivered against attempted, counting every cause.

Access is the variable most operators surrender to; we treat it as solvable. Within the first month of any launch, our admin team contacts every gated property inside the station’s ZIP codes to secure standing all-hours access, and every code a representative obtains on route is captured into a shared access register the whole crew can pull from. The result is a station where the second attempt is rare because the first one had what it needed.

98%

On-time depot arrival

Representatives are in the building by 5:55, work starts at 6:00, wheels roll at 8:45 and the building is clear by 9:00.

Arrival is the single heaviest weighted variable in our representative compensation model at 30% — higher than any other factor — because everything downstream of the sort depends on it. We pay for it, so we get it.

Operating standards · 02

Reliability and coverage

Whether the route goes out, every day, without the carrier having to ask.

100%

Route coverage

Every route committed is a route fielded.

This is the number we hold most strictly because it is the one that is entirely about the carrier: a committed route that does not go out is a full manifest of missed promises, and there is no acceptable rate of that other than zero.

4+

above roster, at all times

Bench depth

Cleared, insured, app-ready representatives who are not on the day’s schedule and can be activated by a single morning call.

The bench is what makes 100% coverage a standard instead of a hope, and it is maintained continuously rather than rebuilt when it is needed.

100%

Night-before confirmation

Every scheduled representative actively confirms by 8:00 PM the evening prior.

An unanswered confirmation is treated as a decline and the bench is activated that night. Tomorrow’s coverage problem gets solved at nine in the evening, not at ten to six in the morning.

95%

Gate adherence

The morning runs on a published gate ladder with a time and an owner at every step, from lead arrival at 5:40 through building clear at 9:00.

Each gate has a pre-written response if it slips, so the station executes rather than improvises. Departure time is the controlling variable on same-day completion, and we manage it to the minute.

30

minutes

Departure to first scan

Measured on every representative, every day, from the first road check-in.

Most operators never measure this at all, which means they lose an hour a day they cannot account for. We treat it as a tracked standard with same-day follow-up, and it is one of the reasons our completion holds on heavy days.

0

Carryover

Nothing rolls into tomorrow.

Anything that cannot be delivered is formally returned the same day, so every morning starts clean and the manifest a carrier hands us is the manifest we deliver.

Capacity

Whether we can take the volume you’re about to place.

<2

unscanned at sort complete

Reconciliation

The station signs out at the end of every sort and produces an unscanned package report before a single vehicle moves.

Discrepancies are resolved on the floor rather than discovered from a scorecard.

20%

of daily volume

Relief layer

Every schedule carries a funded relief layer computed from volume rather than headcount.

There is a deployment gate at 5:00 PM: any representative holding more than 35 stops gets support automatically. Same-day completion is protected by design rather than by effort.

Continuous

Surge headroom

We track and publish the additional daily volume the station could absorb tomorrow without hiring.

A carrier placing volume should not have to guess whether we can take it.

4

stages, earned on clean routes

Certification on demonstrated capability

Representatives progress through a four-stage path and advance on consecutive clean routes rather than elapsed time.

Recruiting runs as a standing function that never pauses, so capacity is available when volume arrives instead of being recruited after it does.

Safety and compliance

What protects the package, the public and the carrier’s name.

100%

Insurance currency

Every active representative carries commercial auto coverage with a delivery endorsement, verified weekly with expiry tracked individually.

A lapse is an immediate stop-work. At the company level we carry $1MM commercial general liability and $1MM hired and non-owned auto, written per station, with a certificate issued naming the carrier for each location.

100%

Background and MVR currency

Checked at onboarding and maintained on a rolling basis.

Not treated as a one-time gate.

0

tolerance, per 10,000 stops

Incidents

Zero tolerance, tracked per 10,000 stops.

Normalized to stops rather than miles, which is the honest unit in an owner-operator model and the one that maps to the work actually performed.

97.2%

Claims-free delivery

Packages delivered without a loss or damage claim.

Custody is tracked from gaylord to door, with exception handling built into the sort floor and every change of package custody logged and escalated the same day.

<28

Customer complaints

Tracked by cause, not just by count.

So the fix lands on the right process.

Every one

Chargeback appeals

Every chargeback is reviewed against our own POD record and appealed where the evidence supports it.

Our proof standard exists partly for this reason: a station with complete photo documentation wins the appeals a station without it absorbs.

Why the numbers hold

One daily feed. Nothing estimated.

Every figure on this page is computed from the same daily feed — five numbers per representative, captured by voice at route close. Nothing is reconstructed at month end.

  • 1Expected
  • 2Received
  • 3Delivered
  • 4Failed
  • 5Returns in hand

Built to replicate

Every station runs the identical clock, the identical proof standard, the identical escalation path and the identical reporting cadence.

A new market is not a new experiment — it is a copy of a system already running to these numbers, which is why the standards travel with it.
